1 in critical condition, 1 injured in St. Pete house fire

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — Two people were injured in a house fire Friday evening in St. Petersburg, according to St. Petersburg Fire Rescue.

The fire happened at a home in the 5800 block of Mangrove Street North around 5:30 p.m., officials said.

Two people were found injured in the home.

A woman is in critical condition. She was immediately treated by paramedics before being transferred to a nearby hospital. A man who was also injured was taken to another hospital in stable condition to be further evaluated.
