'Mad Men' Season 6 Trailer: More of a Teaser, Really

The latest promo doesn't reveal any new footage, but still gets us ready to suit up for the April 7 premiere.

Sigh... we "Mad Men" fans know the drill by now. Each year, before the Emmy-winning AMC drama premieres, the network rolls out an exciting array of new promotional material -- none of which actually contains a shred of substance about the new season.

And so it is with this just-released "trailer" for the upcoming Season 6, premiering April 7. (Less than two weeks away!) Nothing new to see here, folks; it's really just a rehash of highlights from last season: Don slowly souring on his pretty young bride Megan; Roger and Jane separating after an LSD-fueled epiphany; Pete's ill-fated affair with Rory Gilmore, er, Beth. (God, last season was a downer, wasn't it?)

The clip also includes some old dialogue (including the Don Draper classic, "What is happiness? It's a moment before you need more happiness") along with a few glowing media quotes. (Like we need to be reminded that "Mad Men" is good?) And it ends with the final shot of Season 5: a lone-wolf Don approached by a strange woman at a bar, who asks the eternal question: "Are you alone?"

Let's be real: Our anticipation level for a new season of "Mad Men" is already at a 9.9, so we don't need much to get us going. But a smidge of new footage would've been nice. Still, if you're looking for clues about Season 6, you're better off going over that cool retro poster with a fine-toothed comb or clicking through the photos below for any possible hints. That should keep us busy for two more weeks... right?

Season 6 of "Mad Men" premieres Sunday, 4/7 at 9 PM on AMC.
