'Dancing With the Stars' Week 4 Results: Who Went Home After the Best Year of Their Life?

This week's "Best Year of Their Lives" theme ended one star's mirror ball dream.

SPOILER ALERT: This recap reveals the elimination results of Week 4 of "Dancing With the Stars."

After a week of emotional dances that featured best years and plenty of tears, Tuesday night's "Dancing With the Stars" marked the end of the road for one star -- and her little dog, too. On the Week 4 results show, reality star Lisa Vanderpump was eliminated from the competition following a rocky week that had pro boxer Victor Ortiz joining her in the bottom two.

During this week's rehearsals, reality star Vanderpump passed out on camera while rehearsing the cha cha with pro partner Gleb Savchenko. And while Monday night's show had the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star making a last-minute decision on whether or not she'd be able to dance, in the end she pulled through. But the missed rehearsal time had her missing a few steps.

On her blog for People, Lisa addressed the viral infection that landed her in the hospital this week. "Between trying to fight [the virus] and all of the stress on my body from running around, I ended up with low blood pressure and a rapid heart rate, which is why I fainted," she wrote on Monday. "I am still fighting the bug and feeling under the weather but I am staying in the game as long as they say I can."

Lisa and Gleb's cha cha to Kool & the Gang's "Celebration" scored 18 points, though judge Carrie Ann Inaba docked the duo one point for doing a lift. (Gleb seemed baffled by the charge.)

Of her untimely elimination, Lisa said, "It's been six long weeks and it's taken its toll. It's the hardest thing I've ever done, but I was given a gift dancing with [Gleb]."

Lisa's Pomeranian pup, Giggy, made weekly appearances on "Dancing With the Stars," and even joined her on the dance floor for her Week 1 foxtrot. But not everyone thought it was a cute idea. After Monday night's show, judge Carrie Ann tweeted that while she respected the fact that Lisa danced while feeling so ill, she wished she'd stop bringing her dog on stage. She then added a Humane Society hashtag.

On Tuesday's episode of CBS's "The Talk," Sharon Osbourne defended Lisa, saying she brings her own dogs everywhere -- including Lisa's posh restaurants.

The next episode of "Dancing With the Stars" Season 16 airs on Monday, 4/15 at 8 PM on ABC.
