Lontalius recently made a welcome return with “All I Wanna Say,” the first single from his upcoming album due sometime next year. As his first release on Partisan Records, it took the gentle charm of his SoundCloud releases and amplified the production quality, proving his music sounds just as great with all the blemishes removed as it does with them all intact. While considerably different than “All I Wanna Say,” his latest continues to exemplify what it is that makes his music so captivating.

Taking on a considerably more organic approach for “Kick In The Head,” Lontalius expands his aural palette this time around. There’s a lot going on here, but at no point does it get overwhelming. The soft textural qualities of his music remain intact despite the introduction of luscious non-electronic elements, showcasing that his warm homebrewed sound is capable of working in any context. Listen to “Kick In The Head” below.
