Wu-Tang Clan's 'Once Upon a Time in Shaolin' Seeing Slow Release, Per Martin Shkreli's Promise

Months ago, Martin Shkreli went on a headline-dominating rampage by both hiking up prices of the HIV/AIDS drug Daraprim and purchasing the sole copy of Wu-Tang Clan's unreleased double-disc album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin for $2 million.

Shkreli previously promised if Donald Trump were to be elected President, he would proceed to share the album publicly -- and so he has begun with that. Shkreli has shared a small series of videos, all of which feature him, as portions of the album play in the background.

In a previous interview with VICE, the interviewer noted that Shkreli contemplated destroying the record, or preserving it somewhere remote. Fortunately, he opted for a third choice. As Pitchfork reports, Shkreli admits he didn't expect Trump to win and says that when it comes to releasing the rest of the album, he will have to negotiate with the Clan itself.
