Sounds of Revival, Part Two, the new live set from pastor and artist William McDowell, arrives atop Billboard's Top Gospel Albums chart (dated March 25), earning 7,000 equivalent album units in the week ending March 9, according to Nielsen Music.
McDowell earns his fourth No. 1 on the tally with the 13-song set, which boasts a cast of special guests including Travis Greene, Tina Campbell and Brian Courtney.
The initial Revival opened at No. 1 on the Top Gospel Albums chart dated Feb. 13, 2016, with 11,000 copies sold in its launch week. McDowell's other Top Gospel Albums No. 1s are Withholding Nothing, which started at No. 2 on the Nov. 23, 2013, chart and ascended to the top the following week, and Arise: The Live Worship Experience, which began atop the Nov. 26, 2011-dated list (9,000).
McDowell's first charted album, As We Worship: Live, peaked at No. 3 (Dec. 18, 2010).
DA'DRA DEBUTS: Concurrently on Top Gospel Albums, All of Me, the first solo album from Da'dra, opens at No. 5 (1,000). The artist (full name: Da'dra Crawford Greathouse) is also a member of gospel group Anointed, which includes her brother Steve Crawford; the group originally dates to 1987, with personnel changes through the years.
'HOME' COOKING: Chris Tomlin's "Home" surges following the premiere of its official video on March 9. It becomes his record-extending 26th top 10 on both Hot Christian Songs and Christian Airplay and his 15th on Christian Digital Song Sales.
On Hot Christian Songs, which combines airplay, sales and streaming data, the third single from Tomlin's 11th studio album, Never Lose Sight, romps 14-6. It flies 27-6 on Christian Digital Song Sales, up 96 percent to 3,000 downloads sold, and lifts 11-10 on Christian Airplay, increasing by 12 percent to 6 million audience impressions.
Now with 26 top 10s on Hot Christian Songs, Tomlin outpaces runners-up Casting Crowns and MercyMe, tied for second with 23 top 10s apiece, followed by Jeremy Camp (20). Over on Christian Airplay, Tomlin's 26 top 10s lead MercyMe (23), Casting Crowns (22) and Camp (20).
