Wayne Coyne Announces New Flaming Lips/Mac DeMarco Split EP

The Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne has announced a new split EP with Mac DeMarco. The new release will reportedly feature the Flaming Lips covering three Mac DeMarco songs, and “the Mac DeMarco afternoon delight ensemble” returning the favor, covering three of the Lips’ songs. Check out Coyne’s announcement below, with a clip of him working on “Chamber of Reflection,” off Mac’s 2014 album Salad Days. Mac DeMarco and the Flaming Lips embark on a joint tour later this year.
