Rick Astley, the original rickroller himself, played his first official show in the United States since 1989 at NYC’s The Box last night. (He played the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2008, but that was just one song, so it doesn’t really count.) The 50-year-old British pop singer just released a new album called 50 in the UK, and he performed a few of its tracks last night, along with covers of “Uptown Funk” and “Highway To Hell” and, of course, “Never Gonna Give You Up.” He looks and sounds good!
