Watch Pusha T and Tim Kaine Talk Racism, Gun Violence, More

Lil Kaine: “Two Virginia guys in Miami, Florida. I mean, it couldn’t get better.”

By Matthew Strauss.

Earlier this month, Pusha T campaigned with Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine in Miami, Florida. While there, the two sat down for a conversation about salient issues surrounding the election. Today, the Hillary Clinton camp has shared a video of their discussion. Below, watch Push and Kaine talk about gun violence, the criminal justice system, systematic racism, and more (via Mic).

Pusha T grew up in Virginia, where Kaine has served as governor and United States senator. In addition to their shared state, they also share a love of music and an admiration for Hillary Clinton. The senator, of course, is best known as “Lil Kaine,” and has an affinity for David Bowie, Lucy Dacus, the Replacements, and more. Push has sold pro-Clinton t-shirts, and has participated in a Clinton voter registration campaign.
