POSSO is set to "Run This World."
The dynamic duo is premiering their brand new visual exclusively on Billboard Dance today (April 10) and they have a message to send to women: be confident. The self-directed and styled visual finds the lifelong friends cruising around, dancing in grocery store aisles and delivering lyrics like, "You liked me when I was timid little girl / But when you love me when I run, run, run this world?"
Speaking on the track, POSSO told Billboard Dance, "A lot of male DJs use women's body parts to market their brands, so in the video we wanted to use our own body parts unapologetically, with ownership and power. That's not to say that we think men doing it is wrong." They continue, "It's a double standard that if a woman in dance music promotes her own sexuality she's seen as illegitimate or talentless."
When they're not running the world and encouraging all women to do the same, the classically trained musicians also sell a line of fishnet body suits on their website where proceeds from select items are donated to Planned Parenthood.
