Attorney General Jeff Sessions is having a rough week. First, questions arose over whether he'd committed perjury in court discussions about his conversations with Russian officials. Then Sessions recused himself from any investigations into Donald Trump's campaign.
And now, Kate McKinnon has mocked him on his boss' favorite show, Saturday Night Live.
Portraying Sessions as Forrest Gump in his famous bus stop scene, McKinnon chatted with fellow bench-sitters about life's box-of-chocolate nature ("Got a lot of brown ones in there," she noticed, referencing suggestions that Sessions is racist) and his dealings with Russia.
When this week's SNL host Octavia Spencer arrives, she's dressed as her character from The Help: "My name's Minny," she says. "You don't know me, I'm from a different movie."
In The Help, a pivotal scene shows characters baking a pie with a feces filling, as revenge against a villainous character. So when Minny tells McKinnon-as-Sessions, "I have a pie that I baked specially for you," it's fairly clear what's in that dish.
"Is this what I think it is?" McKinnon asks. "Mmm, my favorite."
