Watch Arcade Fire cover John Lennon’s 'Mind Games'

They also blended in Radiohead's “Karma Police” and David Bowie's “Oh! You Pretty Things”

By Michelle Kim.

During their Chicago show last night, Arcade Fire covered John Lennon’s 1973 song “Mind Games”—with a few additions. Towards the end of the rendition, the band began playing the outro of Radiohead’s “Karma Police,” singing: “Phew, for a minute there/I lost myself.” After incorporating the chorus of David Bowie’s 1971 track “Oh! You Pretty Things,” they looped back to the Lennon song. Arcade Fire ended by reprising the chorus of their own song “Wake Up.” Watch it go down below.

Arcade Fire are currently touring behind their new Everything Now album—check out the full dates here. They recently appeared on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” where they performed two songs from the record.
