San Francisco’s soul-rock band Soft White Sixties, who recently made a move to Los Angeles, seem to have found their stride down south. The group has just finished a follow-up LP produced by Father John Misty’s bassist, Elijah Thomson (who’s also worked with Delta Spirit, Aaron Lee Tasjan, and Richard Swift), which shows off their growth since 2014’s debut, Get Right.
Yahoo Music is excited to premiere the band’s latest video, “Sorry to Say,” off their most recent release The Ocean Way EP, which was produced by Matt Linesch (Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros). The band self-produces their music videos, and “Sorry to Say” is a collaboration with a network of talented Southland creatives, from the handmade paper art and set design to the visual effects and photography.
The Soft White Sixties will be showing off their much-lauded live show at the Malibu Guitar Festival, Southern California’s premier seaside music event, on May 20.
