Video Premiere: Lacey Sturm Rocks on ‘Rot’
Four years after leaving the platinum-selling hard rock band Flyleaf, Lacey Sturm is making music on her own terms. Her debut solo album, Life Screams, came out earlier this year and went to #1 on Billboard’s Hard Rock Albums chart — a first-time achievement for a female solo act — and today, Yahoo Music is proud to premiere the album’s dark and political new music video, “Rot.”
“’Rot’ is one of my favorite songs from the Life Screams album and we had an amazing time making the video. I hope it brings new freedom to the soul and new life to the hearts of all who watch it,” says Sturm — who, when she’s not onstage or in the studio, leads a busy post-Flyleaf life as an author, motivational speaker, and happily married mother of two.
