Video premiere: Kellie Pickler and Phil Vassar team up for Christmas 'Naughty List'
Country’s Kellie Pickler and Phil Vassar are teaming up for a special Christmas tour around the nation launching at the end of November and continuing throughout December. If that weren’t enough to get fans in the holiday spirit, the pair has a new Christmas video as well!
Yahoo Music is excited to premiere “The Naughty List,” which is sure to charm even the biggest Grinch in your circle. Vassar — who co-wrote and co-produced the song — explains, “I really had fun writing ‘The Naughty List.’ It feels timeless, and I think it’s a song that people of all ages can enjoy year after year.
The fun clip utilizes an old-school, ’40s-style theme, with a nod to the military tucked in as well. “I love the theme of the video,” Vassar added. “We really had a good time shooting, and Kellie is such a natural in front of the camera. She really knocked it out of the park. Given we both do a lot of work for the USO, it was really neat we were able to include them in the shoot.”
Vassar also encourages fans to come out and see his and Pickler’s tour this season. “Not only is this tour going to be fun — it’s going to be funny,” he revealed. “It’s everything the holidays are supposed to be about — good friends, good music, and a lot of smiles and laughs.”
