Video Premiere: D.A. Wallach Gets Down With ‘Long Way Down’

Recording artist, songwriter, investor, and essayist D.A. Wallach was first discovered by Kanye West and Pharrell Williams while he was studying as an undergraduate at Harvard College. At that point Wallach was one half of the progressive pop duo Chester French; in that capacity he garnered attention from major media for his sound.

Now, he has released his first solo album, Time Machine, which is his first release in four years. Some of the collaborators on the set include Williams, Diane Warren, and James Fauntleroy. Legendary musicians Nathan East, Jim Keltner, Dave Palmer, and Randy Kerber power the rhythm section behind Wallach’s compositions.

Yahoo Music is pleased to debut the video for the album’s lead track, “Long Way Down.” Enjoy!

Beyond music, D.A. is a technologist and investor – in companies including Spotify, SpaceX, and Doctor on Demand. His essays about technology, art, and philosophy have generated hundreds of thousands of views and influenced emerging fields including decentralized rights management.
