Video Premiere: Collie Buddz Gives a Taste of the 'Good Life'

Growing up in Bermuda, Collie Buddz (born Colin Harper) was heavily influenced by reggae music — a passion he decided to make his life’s track. He’s been experimenting with the genre since the age of 12, mixing it up with other influences such as dancehall and hip-hop and creating a contemporary sound all his own; one that’s led him to collaborative efforts with such artists as Lil’ Flip, Shaggy, and Kid Cudi.

Buddz is poised to release his latest album, Good Life, on May 19, and Yahoo Music is excited to debut the lyric video to the title track.

As he says of the song: “It seems like we are all in constant search of the ‘Good Life.’ Between work, family, bills life can get hectic and it is easy to get lost in the shuffle. Sometimes it’s necessary to step back, take some time for yourself, let loose, and appreciate what you have.

“Creating music has always been an outlet for me to express myself and free up. I hope this song and my music can be an escape for you as well.”
