Video premiere: Atlas Genius perform 'Animals' live

South Australia’s Atlas Genius are one of those success stories that have a serendipitous side: The band’s debut song, “Trojans,” resulted in offers from record labels and more than 45,000 downloads in the U.S. alone before they signed a deal. Their full-length debut album, When It Was Now, was released in 2013 to critical fanfare, then was followed up by sophomore effort Inanimate Objects in 2015. The group debuted the music video for their new song “63 Days” in the summer of 2017 and are poised to release their eagerly anticipated third studio album in spring 2018 on Caroline.

Atlas Genius recently stopped by AT&T Audience Network’s studio in Los Angeles to perform some of their new music, including a fresh song, “Animals.” Yahoo Music is pleased to debut the performance of the tune for fans to get a preview of their upcoming sound.
