Video Premiere: 15-Year-Old Lil Key Shuns Detractors on ‘Love 2 Hate Me’
Gotta love resilient Millennials. Baltimore’s Lil Key couldn’t be less fazed about his detractors. The 15-year-old rapper explains his smart disposition on his song “Love 2 Hate Me” that premieres exclusively on Yahoo Music.
On the hard-hitting, street dance track produced by Jay Oliver, Lil Key rhymes about staying focused on his goal to claim his spot in hip hop. While rhyming, “They love to hate me,” he dismisses the negativity and suggests that his listeners follow his lead and “keep your head up.”
“Love 2 Hate Me” is the lead single from Lil Key’s debut EP, Key 2 Success that includes contributions from Dukeyman, Efromdawic, Skarr Akbar, King Tutt, Juriel Majeed and Wiz Productions.
