UTA has named Greg Janese head of corporate and special events, based out of Nashville.
Janese arrives from Paradigm, where he also headed the corporate and special event division. He was with the agency for 12 years, joining after a stint as president of TBA Entertainment Corporation, a corporate event production company. Prior to that, he co-founded Avalon Entertainment Group, a concert promotion and production company that specialized in the corporate market.
"I'm honored to take this role at UTA, and to have the opportunity to work alongside [CEO and co-founder] Jeremy Zimmer and so many other talented executives at a company that is truly raising the bar within the creative community," said Janese. "Artists today are looking to their representatives for visionary, forward-thinking and specialized services across many areas of their work. UTA is leading the way, and that's why I'm so excited to join this team and focus on the corporate event market."
UTA's music clients include DJ Khaled, Mariah Carey and Rachel Platten. The agency recently picked up rappers Desiigner, Tyga, Pusha T and YG.
