Tom Morello has partnered with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters to give away tracks from Union Town, the 2011 album from the guitarist's Nightwatchman project. Fans can simply head to the Teamsters website and submit their email addresses for the tracks. "Stop the war on workers," reads one of the banners above a live photo of Morello.
Union Town was released in July 2011 and includes famous union anthems along with originals by Morello. To mark last year's May Day, the Rage Against the Machine guitarist notably led a "guitarmy" along New York's Fifth Avenue, from Bryant Park down to Union Square, with the Occupy Movement.
Morello, who recently toured Australia with Bruce Springsteen as a substitute on guitar for Steven Van Zandt, will also pay tribute to paralyzed Iraq veteran and anti-war activist Tomas Young at a Kansas City, Missouri, event on May 19th.
