On Nov. 10th, Atlanta rapper TIP (formerly known as T.I.) stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk about his recent name change, and his adamant rejection of Donald Trump as president. When asked about participating in the Trump Tower protest the previous night, TIP explained his impulsive decision to join the rally, taking place around the corner from his recording studio in New York City.
"I voted, I've done everything prior to now, but after the decision of the election had happened, I just want to be able to look my kids in the eyes and make sure they know I did everything that the constitution allows me to do to show my objection to this decision," TIP said to Kimmel.
He then elaborated on his September EP Us or Else, which confronts police brutality and the black youth who have lost their lives to this violence. "I just really want to see this nation head in a better direction," he concluded.
