Thurston Moore Announces New Album 'Rock n Roll Consciousness,' Shares Video for New Song

Thurston Moore has announced a new solo record. It’s titled Rock n Roll Consciousness, and it’s out April 28 on Caroline International. Moore has also shared the video for a new song from the record, “Smoke of Dreams.” Check it out, along with the tracklist and album art, below. Rock n Roll Consciousness features contributions from My Bloody Valentine bassist Debbie Googe and Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley (who appeared on Moore’s 2014 album The Best Day). In March, Thurston Moore shared a new song called “Cease Fire” (not on the LP) and announced tour dates.
