And Then This Happened: Drake Brings Out Eminem In Detroit For His “Summer Sixteen” Tour

Drake is definitely playing Chess.

Would you look at that. Eminem and Drake on the same stage. Who woulda thunk it?

During Drake’s Detroit Summer Sixteen tour stop, the Views artist brought out the unofficial ambassador of the city to a sold out crowd at Joe Louis Arena who were all too excited to see the recluse rapper perform.

The news doesn’t come as much of a shock to folks, but is a pretty dope Chess moves on Drizzy’s part as Hot 97 FM’s Ebro Darden alleged Drake’s beef with the station came in part because Darden revealed if Eminem were to ever throw a lyrical challenge his way, he’d respond in kind.

Well it appears as though there’s no bad blood between Aubrey and Marshall as the two performed “Forever” together.

Drake showed great respect for the hometown hero and called him “the greatest rapper to ever get on a microphone.”

Twitter then proceed to go ape sh*t when Eminem touched the stage and still can’t believe Drizzy pulled it off.

Well done, gentlemen.
