It's been less than a week since the parody account FeministTaylorSwift appeared on Twitter, but it's already racked up more 85,000 followers with its stream of endlessly clever feminist tweaks on the country-pop superstar's lyrics. The account even garnered an all caps shout out from FeministKanye: "YO IMMA LET YOU FINISH CUZ AS A MAN I NEED TO STEP BACK AND LET YOU BE HEARD." Below we've compiled some of @feministtswift's best reworkings of Swift's lyrics, which include a Roe vs. Wade twist to "Long Live," making "Mean" a pointed attack against those spreading misinformation about women's health and noting why "This Is a Movie" probably wouldn't pass the Bechdel test.
