Taylor Swift is 'Obsessed' With Video Cover Mashup of Her Songs

YouTube is loaded with videos of fans covering Taylor Swift songs. Most go unnoticed — but a mashup featuring covers of “Blank Space” and “Style,” two songs from Swift’s massively successful 1989  album, has more than 450,000 views as of this morning.

The clip took off after Taylor caught wind of the video and tweeted on Saturday that she was “OBSESSED” (yes, in all caps) with it and included a link to the video. Taylor’s tweet has been retweeted more than 10,000 times and has more than 19,000 favorites.

The mashup is by Louisa Wendorff with Devin Dawson. In the description for the clip, which Wendorff posted on Dec. 23, she wrote, “My friend Devin + I linked up again to do a little TaySway mash-up for ya’ll! So thankful to all you guys out there who have been so wonderful over the last year! Happy holidays!!”

Wendorff isn’t a complete amateur. In fact, below the clip, she posted a link to her Arrow EP on iTunes. The six-song set, featuring a digital booklet, was released in June, and has received 46 five-star ratings.

But it's the feedback from Swift that has left Wendorff stunned. She posted a selfie on Twitter captioned, “WHAT IS LIFE?!?!” On Facebook, she added, “I’ve been happy dancing all day and FREAKING OUT!!”
