The Stone Roses’ frontman Ian Brown has testified against Fred Talbot, his former schoolteacher and the UK weatherman who was convicted of indecent assault on students and is currently facing more charges. Brown, who had Talbot as a biology teacher at Greater Manchester’s Altrincham Grammar School for Boys, told the court that Talbot tried to abuse one of his friends during a camping trip to Scotland in 1977 or ’78, according to the BBC.
