Somber tributes, dimmed lights on Vegas shooting anniversary
LAS VEGAS (AP) — The marquees on the glimmering Las Vegas Strip dimmed their lights for three minutes Monday night as officials slowly read the 58 names of the people killed one year earlier in the country's deadliest mass shooting in modern history.

Country stars offer solemn tribute to Route 91 victims at Grammys
Eric Church, Maren Morris, and Brothers Osborne stunned the crowd at the 2018 Grammy Awards on Jan. 28, with an emotional tribute to those killed at the Oct. 1, 2017 mass shooting in Las Vegas and at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England, in May.

Critics pounce on Mariah Carey's 'inappropriate' interview following the Las Vegas shooting
Following the events at the Route 91 country music festival in Las Vegas, a Mariah Carey interview with "Good Morning Britain" has been found by some to be in poor taste. Carey was scheduled to appear to promote her U.K. Christmas tour, but when asked about the largest mass shooting in modern U.S. history, the image of Carey lounging on a couch in front of a Christmas tree seems inappropriate.
