Just what is it about Bruce Springsteen that means so much to his fans? The upcoming documentary Springsteen and I examines the relationship Springsteen's loyal listeners have with their hero and his music. In this new trailer, the fans play as large a role as the music, sharing personal reflections and insights about the ways in which Springsteen has shaped their lives.
The documentary by Ridley Scott Associates, Black Dogs Films and Scott Free London demonstrates how a performer can make a concert played in front of 25,000 strangers feel like an intimate experience among close friends.
The film, opening July 22nd, was inspired by London's critically acclaimed feature film Life in a Day, and is directed by Baillie Walsh.
Springsteen and the E Street Band are currently in the middle of a European tour that runs through July.
