Song Premiere: The Sharp Things Debut New Tunes From ‘EverybodyEverybody’
The Sharp Things are a rock band from New York City founded by singer/songwriter/pianist Perry Serpa. Finding himself with a surplus of newly written songs several years ago, Serpa decided to undertake the launch of an album series called the Dogs of Bushwick. Since 2013, the band has released three LPs in the series. EverybodyEverybody, the fourth and final installment, is set to hit the streets on February 19.
Yahoo Music is excited to debut three of the album’s nine tracks, “Sport’s Drinking Again,” “Hail To The Chief,” and “Daphne’s Coming Over.”
The record is essentially an uninterrupted song cycle from top to bottom, complete with a sound collage and interstitial bits, which is reflected in the sampler presented here.
