Song Premiere: The Randy Rogers Band Team Up With Jamey Johnson for ‘Actin’ Crazy’
The Randy Rogers Band is releasing its new album, Nothing Shines Like Neon, which was recorded in Texas with Buddy Cannon, on Jan. 15. The set includes a host of guest appearances, including duets with Alison Krauss, Dan Tyminski, Jamey Johnson, and Jerry Jeff Walker.
Yahoo Music is pleased to debut the Johnson collaboration, “Actin’ Crazy,” which is sure to drive fans crazy as well.
“’Actin’ Crazy’ is about a struggling actor living in L.A.,” says Rogers of the track. “I had met a very famous actor a few days before Jamey Johnson and I wrote this song, and it got me thinking about all the other people who never make it and how tough it is to chase that dream.”
