Barcelona's premier three-day electronic arts festival Sonar dropped the first phase of it's day and night musical programming, and its taking full advantage of some of this year's most highly-anticipated album releases.
Confirmed for the night camp are Justice, Nicolas Jaar, Moderat, Eric Prydz, Clams Casino, Cashmere Cat, and Damian Lazarus. Hip-hop legends De La Soul will be there, plus two performances from Fat Freddy's Drop, and DJ sets from Nina Kraviz and The Black Madonna.
Day programming includes Nosaj Thing alongside Daito Manabe, a Japanese technologist who will also head up the festival's main auxiliary conference, Sonar+D. The lineup rounds out with LCC, Amnesia Scanner, Forest Swords, Stööki Sound, Nadia Rose, the Soulection collective, and more.
Red Bull Music Academy and Resident Advisor will curate Day stages. Sonar+D welcomes attendees to explore the cutting edge of creative technology during its four days, with engagements from Google's Head of VR Cinematography Jessica Brillhart, open hardware platform littleBits founder Ayah Bdeir, and more.
