Rooney Mara will play a pop star in a new film called Vox Lux, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film, directed by Brady Corbet, will feature original music by Sia. The film follows Mara’s character through 15 years of her career starting in 1999.

Earlier this year, Sia was cast as the pop star pony Songbird Serenade in My Little Pony: The Movie. She also contributed two original songs to the soundtrack. Additionally, she covered the Beatles for Netflix’s animated show “Beat Bugs.”
