See It First: YouTube Sensation Skylar Stecker Premieres ‘That’s What’s Up’ Video
At just 13, Skylar Stecker has already accomplished impressive feats in the music business. After amassing 25 million plays on YouTube, she signed a deal with Cherrytree Records / Interscope and is slated to release her debut album, This Is Me, on September 25.
Check out her new music video for her song “That’s What’s Up,” premiering exclusively on Yahoo Music.
On the bubbly, pop track the young songwriter sings about having the drive that it takes to make it as a singer: “I got one shot and that’s enough / About to blow up and tear it up.”
Skylar’s Firecracker EP released independently last January received rave reviews from the likes of Teen Vogue and PopCrush.
