See It First: Paul Weller Premieres Intimate Live ‘Going My Way’ Video

From his '70s days in seminal punk/mod band the Jam and his '80s stint in sophisti-pop combo the Style Council, all the way through to his illustrious solo career, Paul Weller has epitomized cool. At age 57, “The Modfather” continues to evolve with his critically acclaimed, psychedelically epic 12th solo album, Saturns Pattern.

And as his recent stellar shows at this year’s Glastonbury Festival and with the Who at Hyde Park have proven, the man’s still got it. But today, Yahoo Music is thrilled to premiere an exclusive live Weller video of Saturns Pattern’s latest single, “Going My Way,” in a much more intimate, very un-Glastonbury-like setting. Shot at Weller’s band’s rehearsal studio, “Going My Way” provides an up-close glimpse at the man, the myth… the Modfather.

“Going My Way” is available digitally, but superfans will likely want to scoop up the 7-inch bundle that includes the song on 7-inch vinyl, along with a 7” x 7” limited-edition art print and a plectrum that resembles the model Weller uses on tour. (A few lucky fans will actually receive a plectrum used by Weller himself.)
