See It First: Imam Baildi Puts New Spin on Old Greek Music

Answer: Imam Baildi, an urban blend of old Greek Music with new orchestration, production, and remixing techniques that has succeeded in bringing audiences all around the world to their feet Imam Baildi is poised to release their third full-length album, Imam Baildi III, via The End Records/ADA on June 16.

Yahoo Music is excited to premiere a video from the project, “Argosvinis Moni,” which translates to “You Fade Away Alone.” This 1947 song is about a girl who wanders through life, and is hurt and betrayed by love.

With their first two albums, the group spawned the first alternative urban Greek musical projects to claim two top positions in the European World Music Charts. Interested in catching them live?
