It seems like forever since R&B music had a fresh, young singer who made songs about having a crush. So 18-year-old Anthony Lewis’s emergence is right on time. Yahoo Music goes behind-the-scenes of his new music video for “It’s Not My Fault,” in this exclusive clip.
"I like to sing about young love," Lewis explains in a statement. “‘It’s Not My Fault’ is about that feeling you get when you see your first crush. It’s amazing. You get all twisted up, and you don’t know what to do with yourself. The song has those elements. Then it was blessed by the King of the South. T.I. It doesn’t get better than that."
Lewis generated a buzz last year when he released a cover of Soul 4 Real’s “Candy Rain.” He is signed to The Chemist and Global Entertainment and is prepping his full-length album Five Senses.
