ScHoolboy Q’s New Album Is Finished

Early last month, ScHoolboy Q released “Groovy Tony,” his first bit of new material since 2014’s Oxymoron. But details on if an album would follow (and if so, when) weren’t included with the release, leaving us to wonder when we’d get more new songs from the rapper.
But in an Instagram posted last night, Q clears some of our questions by confirming that the new album is not only done but also turned into Top Dawg. “Album turned in 2 TOP DAWG… So vacation wit my day ones!!!! 51st & figg side!!!!” the caption read alongside a picture of Q and his crew hanging on a boat.
Fingers crossed that if it’s already turned into TDE, we might be getting that album sooner rather than later. For now, revisit “Groovy Tony” below.
