Martin Hamlisch, EGOT-Winning Composer, Dead at 68Marvin Hamlisch, the Hollywood and Broadway composer who wrote the music for The Sting and A Chorus Line, and one of only 11 people to have won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony award, died on Monday at age 68. His family said he had suffered a brief illness before he died in Los Angeles, The Associated Press reported, but "other details aren't being released."
