Amy Winehouse's Home Sells for $3.2 Million at Auction
Amy Winehouse's home in Camden Square, London, where the singer was found dead in July 2011, sold at auction for $3.2 million, the BBC reports.
"I think they are pleased that they have drawn a line under it," said auctioneer Chris McHugh. "They did have it on the market but they didn't get the result for them." While McHugh added that the auction catalog did not state the house belonged to Winehouse, word had spread and attracted four serious bidders in the room and many more over the phone.
