'Portlandia's' movie theater serves arugula salad and Italian soda [Exclusive video]

Looking to grab a tub of popcorn and a Coke before your next movie? Don't try it in Portland.

Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein's IFC sketch series "Portlandia" delights in poking fun at the city's penchant for making every aspect of life an organic, eco-friendly experience. And in the exclusive clip posted above, even the local movie theater isn't immune. Here, Fred and Carrie play a pair of frizzy-haired concession-stand workers who walk a hapless customer through their new "artisan, rustic" snack menu.

Want popcorn? You can get "artisan" popcorn, wrapped in newspaper, which "really infuses the food with the grittiness of the paper." Craving a Diet Sprite? How about an Italian soda instead? And be sure to get the combo box, which comes with an arugula salad, sun-dried grapes (or, you know, raisins), and salted ice cream. Just don't be alarmed if the guy from the concession stand interrupts your movie to drizzle caramel on your food. It's artisan!

"Portlandia" airs Fridays at 10 PM on IFC.
