Ryan Adams Box Set Features Action Figures, Play Set

By Noah Yoo.

Ryan Adams’ new album Prisoneris out February 17 via Pax Am/Blue Note. Today, the singer-songwriter has announced the limited edition box set for the release—and it’s pretty nuts. Prisoner: End of World Edition gathers every single one of the 12 songs off the new album as its own 7" record, along with 17 previously unreleased B-sides. The new box set also comes with a play set of Adams’ stage setup, complete with 2-D action figures of Adams and his band members (and pedal board accessories!). 12 randomly selected copies of Prisoner: End of World Edition will also feature a one-of-a-kind 7" single recorded by Adams using a vintage Voice-O-Graph booth—back in December, he showed off the recording process for these singles on Instagram.

Prisoner: End of World Edition will ship in March; the extra B-sides will be released digitally when the box set is released.
