Rihanna, Chance the Rapper, Pusha T, and More Mourn the Death of Chester Bennington

Rihanna, Chance the Rapper, Pusha T, and more eulogized Chester Bennington on social media.

Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington, 41, committed suicide Thursday. According to an initial report from TMZ, Bennington hanged himself at a private Palos Verdes Estates residence. His body was found Thursday morning.

The band's most recent album, One More Light, opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 upon its release in May. A video for the single "Talking to Myself" was released Thursday morning, just hours prior to the heartbreaking news of Bennington's death:

At the time of this writing, Linkin Park had not issued a formal statement on Bennington's death. Bennington's bandmate, Mike Shinoda, said in a tweet shortly after the news broke that he was "shocked and heartbroken."

Pusha T, who collaborated with Bennington and the band on this year's "Good Goodbye," said the experience was "truly a pleasure" and thanked Bennington for sharing his greatness.

Other artists—including Chance the Rapper, Rihanna, Killer Mike, El-P, Ice T, Lupe Fiasco, and more—have since shared their thoughts on Bennington's passing and praised his influence on their own creativity.

Rest in peace.
