Kanye West and Kim Kardashian welcomed a baby daughter last week, and now her name has surfaced: the proud parents have reportedly named their little girl North. According to Us Weekly, they're calling her Nori.
Previous rumors suggested West and Kardashian would continue the "K" trend with names in the family – particularly the Kardashian clan – with even one rumor suggesting the baby would be named Kaidence Donda West, taking her middle name from West's late mother. North West was born five weeks early on June 15th at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, and she was not given a middle name.
The birth of Nori coincided with the release this week of West's new album, Yeezus. Rick Rubin executive produced the rapper's sixth LP, which includes collaborations with Daft Punk and Chief Keef and features a sample of Nina Simone's version of the Billie Holiday song "Strange Fruit."
