‘The Real’ Responds To Tamar Braxton’s Reveal On ‘Braxton Family Values’
Recently, The Real emailed LoveBScott in response to the episode of Braxton Family Values in which Tamar Braxton is consoled by her sisters after she finds out that she has been fired from the daytime talk show. During the scene, Braxton indirectly accuses her former co-hosts for her dismissal from the program. However, the show insists that these accusations couldn’t be farther from the truth.
“Tamar Braxton’s contract was not renewed for reasons that will remain privileged and private, and that are between her and the studio,” the statement reads. “However, we would like to make it crystal clear that Ms. Braxton’s departure from the show had nothing to do with her former co-hosts; any suggestions to the contrary unfairly tarnishes them.”
According to the Daily Mail, Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc., the parent company of The Real, has threatened litigation against Braxton and her husband Vince Herbert. Legal letters have been sent to We TV expressing that the actress reenacted the day she found out she was fired for Braxton Family Values and if they continue to make statements that disparage The Real or violates the non-disclosure agreement Braxton and her husband signed, legal action will be taken.
