RBMA LA 2017: St. Vincent, Edgar Wright, Arca, More

Red Bull Music Academy Festival is coming to the west coast for its inaugural Los Angeles edition. The month-long event, which kicks off October 4 and concludes October 29, is set to feature “the world premieres of a technicolor new direction from St. Vincent,” as well as “a new audio-visual show from shapeshifting producer Arca in collaboration with Taran Allen.” Elsewhere on the itinerary are film director Edgar Wright, who is set to give a talk on how music helps shape his work, as well as Jlin, Kode9, and a brand-new performance from SOPHIE. Dâm-Funk, Yves Tumor, Ice-T, and Ryoji Ikeda are also on the roster. Find more information here and check out the full lineup below; tickets go on sale August 22.
