Ray J Teases Getting Married in ‘Curtains Closed’ Video
Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood couple Ray J and Princess have had their share of good times and bad times on the popular reality television drama. But they are focusing on the good in the music video for Ray J’s new song “Curtains Closed.”
The video opens with Ray J dressed in a tuxedo, walking towards the entrance of a church. The video then flashes to scenes recapping their relationship, including fighting and making up.
The story advances to Ray J looking at wedding rings and getting dressed for the wedding. As he and his best man are chauffeured to the event site, Princess is shown getting primped for the nuptials.
Of course, in reality show fashion, the video includes a cliffhanger. The final scene picks up where the opener left off. As Ray J walks in slow motion towards the church, he takes a deep breath before entering. The scene fades.
On the ballad, Ray J professes his genuine love for Princess. He sings, “When the curtains close and the lights go down and the Phantom pulls up / When the show is over, cameras stop recording / I can’t wait til it’s just me and you.”
Ray J and Princess confirmed their engagement at the BET Hip Hop Awards in October.
