In less than a week, Remy Ma has torched the Internet with two scathing diss records aimed at Nicki Minaj. On Thursday night (March 2), she punctuated last Saturday's (Feb. 25) assault on Minaj "ShETHER" with a second diss track, "Another One," which premiered on Funkmaster Flex's Hot 97 show. The heated skirmish for the title of Queen of Hip-Hop has everyone buzzing and clamoring for more -- and particularly for Nicki to respond with a diss track of her own.
With the bubbling beef becoming the talk of the hip-hop world, plenty of rappers, singers and celebrities have weighed in, either taking sides with one or the other or just sitting back and enjoying the sport of two top-level rappers sparring back and forth. Here's a roundup of a slew of those who have weighed in on the topic.
"I shoulda never took my hands from around Nicki that day we shot #PillsNPotions... that was the last time she been held by a REAL N---A !!!," The Game wrote in a now-deleted post on Instagram, siding with Nicki and taking shots at her ex-boyfriend Meek Mill.
"Hip-Hop is so entertaining," 50 Cent -- who knows a thing or two about diss tracks and beef himself -- wrote in a now-deleted post on Instagram. "Everybody's just waiting to see what Nikki's gonna do. She has to do something. Problem is, Remy is really, really bout that life."
"['ShETHER'] is just a very disrespectful record. It's probably the most disrespectful record I've ever heard in my life. That shit is very out of pocket," Minaj's ex Samuels told TMZ in an interview.
"I got respect for Nicki," Songz said in a now-deleted Instagram video. "Me and Nicki worked together. I get respect for Remy, but no matter what you heard, I've never had sex with Nicki. I'm staying out the way. It's hip-hop. It's entertainment. I'm a fan of both artists."
"Now I'm not taking sides with Nikki r Remy cause that's not what I do but I got to speak on this," Boosie wrote in a lengthy Instagram post. "When did all you b----es start hating Nikki so bad. Y'all the same b---es was just [saying] Nikki crazy knowing all her punch lines, saying she harder than all male rappers, dressing like her, etc."
"I want to be clear and say that my sister [Remy Ma] is the best female rapper on the planet Earth, as we know now," Fat Joe said during an interview with Funkmaster Flex. "This is a unanimous decision."
"After hearing 'ShETHER,' that shit is so hard, Remy don't need no damn help," Kim, who has also had issues with Minaj in the past, told Billboard about rumors she'd be joining Remy on a new diss. "Why would I need to come together for that? I mean, I'm into the music and I'm speaking musically wise -- the song is just hard, period."
"I want Nick to say something just because, nine times out of ten, what Nicki said, she knew what she was getting into when she said it," Raekwon opined to Billboard. "Remy loves this. She gets down. Remember, at the end of the day, she just gets busy. She just comes from that school. But Nick, she comes from that school in her way, too, but she found a lane and she cracked her lane. That ain't saying she can't give it to you if she has to. My thing is, y'all get it off y'all's chest, get past it, and then take care of your families. That's grown shit."
"I gotta go with Remy -- I got history with Remy," Da Brat said on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show. "She's part of my era. I respect Remy. We friends. As far as the bars, Remy's bars have eaten the shit out of anything Nicki has ever said, unfortunately; I'm sorry."
Pittsburgh Steelers Running Back Le'Veon Bell
"Don't get me wrong, I definitely think Nicki has the bars and the talent to be able to come back and diss her and give her her publicity, but I feel like, if I'm Nicki, I don't feel like I give her that attention," Bell said in an interview with TMZ.
Actress Vivica A. Fox
"[Remy] is amazing and she's an OG, so you have to give respect," Fox told The Shade Room. "I just don't like that when you see them [feuding], they're beefing against each other. I believe there's room for both of them to drive and ride and to make a whole bunch of damn bodies move. So y'all get together, y'all were fighting for a little while, so y'all get together and make that paper together girlfriends, because that's what women do. We get together."
