Puff Daddy Was Reportedly ‘Moved’ By Tupac Biopic

The music mogul got a chance to view the flick on Friday (July 1.)

The upcoming Tupac biopic All Eyez On Me has a fan in Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs.

The music mogul reportedly got a chance to see the Benny Boom-directed flick on Friday (July 1) with designer Tracey Mills. “Had to show @iamdiddy the 2Pac movie,” Mills captioned the now-deleted Instagram photo. “He was so moved by how well done this movie [was.]” The film will highlight the career of Tupac Shakur, who is arguably one of the most iconic figures in hip-hop history. Fans are expecting to hear more about his family’s ties to the Black Panthers and of course, his infamous rap beef with The Notorious B.I.G.

Other acts like Game have shared their own thoughts on the upcoming film. In June, the rapper called the biopic the real deal. “Tupac movie is the real deal, sh*t make that Biggie movie look like a cartoon..,” he said in an Instagram video.

Mills posted a photo of Kanye West, who also got a chance to view the film.

A trailer to film was released last month on what would have been the rapper’s 45th birthday. Demetrius Shipp Jr., took on the role as 2Pac with Jamal Woodard reprising his role as the late Biggie Smalls.

The move is set to hit theaters this November.
