Police Investigate After Chris Brown Reportedly Threatens Woman With a Gun

Chris Brown's litany of legal issues looks set to continue, as TMZ reports that he is the sole suspect in a criminal assault investigation after he pulled a gun on a woman an threatened her.

According to TMZ, the woman called the police early Tuesday morning in Los Angeles after an argument with Brown, who was in a house with several friends, including Ray J. Apparently, some uninvited guests arrived and were asked to leave—one of those guests is the woman who made the police report. The details of the incident are unclear, but someone inside the house insists Chris was asleep the whole time. Brown is said to still be inside the house this morning, and TMZ has shared photos which they say show police waiting outside.

TMZ also report that when Ray J left the house later on, police handcuffed him and seized his car. After checking his ID, they let him go, but kept his car as evidence. He Ubered home.

Just this year, Brown has reportedly been sued by his former manager over an unprovoked attack as well as by Suge Knight over a 2014 shooting at a nightclub party hosted by Brown. He also, incredibly insensitively described Kehlani's suicide attempt "flexing for the 'gram."
